DeLeon says they fixed her refrigerator so that it would cool, but the interior light wouldn't come on when she opened the door. When Davis stopped by the Cypress store and the North Freeway location, employees sent a repairman back to DeLeon's home in Rosharon.
When DeLeon first contacted Davis in September, Davis tried to get someone at Appliance Outlet to help. Off camera, the manager and another man named Andy Rodik told Davis that they were not aware DeLeon was having issues with her appliances. "Where are you getting the appliances that are not working when you deliver them?" Davis asked the sales manager at the Appliance Outlet on I-45 near Little York.

DeLeon recalled the salesman at the business that advertises "scratch and dent" appliances told her, "There's just a little damage outside, but they work good," "They told me they're new appliances," DeLeon told consumer expert Amy Davis. She purchased it in September from Appliance Outlet on FM 529 in Cypress. There was one younger gentleman and he was an excellent salesman, he wasn't pushing the product on me, he just gave me time to find what I needed and if I had questions, he was always there. I wish I remembered the names of the 2 people that helped me out. They made sure not to scrape any walls and when they brought in the fridge, they hooked it up with no problems, they did a good job. The delivery service was right on time and the delivery guys were good.

So, the customer has to do a bit of searching and I get what they are doing there, but I would say that they should just leave it open and honest as possible. They have discounted products in there but then they have other fridges and washer and dryer units that are bunched in the back for no one to really see. I think that they could probably organize their products a little bit better, specially as far as having discounted items on the floor.
